Jackson Han

Software engineer focused on distributed systems, data pipelines, and research-oriented software
My name is Jackson. I studied Computer Science at the University of Toronto, graduating with High Distinction, and have worked on large-scale distributed systems, real-time audio streaming, telephony analytics, payment flows, and AWS-backed product infrastructure. My engineering background spans C, Python, Java, PostgreSQL, Bash, AWS, CI/CD, algorithms, machine learning fundamentals, numerical methods, and empirical performance analysis. I am especially interested in applying systems experience to machine learning, computer vision, image understanding, efficient model training, real-time inference, and large-scale data processing. I also work comfortably with modern coding agents as part of an engineering workflow: using them to explore unfamiliar code, accelerate implementation, generate tests, review tradeoffs, and maintain a higher iteration speed without giving up technical ownership.
